BLM firefighters train for fire season May 29, 2009
First-year firefighters will train next week at the Methodist Camp in the Sawtooth Mountain area to learn basic fire suppression tactics and safety procedure. All other upper-level firefighters must train in specialties that include additional safety procedures, chain saw operation, water use, engine operation, and other skills.
