    This year s class traveled to Maine for a whitewater rafting trip down the Kennebec River. On June 5, the seniors showed up early at the Erie Four Fire Company station in the afternoon and were treated to a barbecued meal of hamburgers, hotdogs, corn on the cob, watermelon and soda.     PORTLAND, Maine - Four Coast Guard cutters are set to begin breaking up ice on Maine's Kennebec River as a safeguard measure to cut down on the chances of spring flooding. The Coast Guard says the cutters will begin working the ice-choked river on Monday. (Seacoast New Hampshire)
