DIRECTV Sues Michigan Resident for Unauthorized Distribution of DIRECTV Programming Sep 4, 2009
The complaint, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan, alleges John Metzler, the owner and operator of Phoenix Communications and Pine River Cable, set up fraudulent accounts in three communities, Baldwin, Beaver Island and Brutus, using fictitious properties including a non-existent trailer park and an apartment complex. Pine River Cable used the accounts to resell and rebroadcast DIRECTV programming to commercial and residential subscribers. (Yahoo! Wire -- Entertainment News)

Last year I had six of them on Beaver Island that are landlocked and I have a feeling I ll get them back in another three years. Charlevoix challengers defeat incumbents May 7, 2009

Beaver Island Community School and Harbor Springs Public Schools posted the highest averages, with 85 percent and 80 percent meeting the standards. I've been very surprised on the response with Beaver Island health department, zoning, they basically all said 'Ken's a nice guy but we finally have a real building inspector on Beaver Island,' Hilton said ...
